Tokio es la ciudad más cara del mundo por segundo año consecutivo

Buenos Aires es la que más sube en el ranking mundial

Santiago, la collateral de Chile, ha subido 17 puestos y es ahora la 29.ª ciudad más cara del continente americano, según la última encuesta sobre el costo de vida conducida por ECA International, el líder mundial en desarrollo y provisión de soluciones de gestión y asignación de empleados en todo el mundo. En la lista mundial, la collateral chilena ha subido del 156.º al 134.º puesto.

«En promedio, en Santiago, la tasa de aumento de los precios de la canasta ECA de bienes y servicios casi se ha duplicado durante el año», dijo Lauren Smith, gerente ubiquitous de ECA International New York. «Sumado a la apreciación del peso en relación a varias de otras monedas importantes durante el año, ha contribuido a la escalada de la ciudad en el ranking. Escalada que significa que a las empresas les resulta más caro enviar empleados a la ciudad, ya que ahora tendrán que aplicar mayores índices de costo de vida a los salarios, a fin de garantizar el poder adquisitivo de sus empleados mientras se encuentren en Santiago.»

Caracas, que ocupa 13.er lugar a nivel mundial, sigue siendo el lugar más caro de la región para los empleados internacionales. Le sigue Río de Janeiro, que está 22.º en la lista mundial. Después vienen Sao Paulo (29) y Brasilia (33).

En los últimos años, las ciudades brasileñas se han disparado en el ranking mundial de costo de vida. En 2008, Río se calcificaba 141.a en el ranking mundial. Al año siguiente saltó al lugar 51 y en 2010 la ciudad entró en el tip 20. El fortalecimiento del genuine en relación criminal muchas de las principales monedas durante este período, es el cause subyacente del aumento de los precios de los productos básicos, y una significativa inflación de los precios han contribuido a la escalada.

La creciente inflación de Argentina hizo que Buenos Aires fuera la ciudad que más ha subido en el ranking mundial. La ciudad argentina ha saltado 68 lugares, a la posición 95. En promedio, el costo de la canasta ECA de bienes y servicios para empleados internacionales ha aumentado en un 35% durante el año.

En América del Norte, Vancouver, ubicada en el puesto 43 de la lista mundial, es el lugar más costoso. Manhattan (Nueva York) está en la 46.ª posición, muy por debajo de la 28.ª del año pasado. Ciudades de todos los Estados Unidos están entre las que más se han desplomado en la clasificación mundial, en gran parte como un resultado de la devaluación del dólar en relación criminal muchas de las monedas importantes.

Las ciudades mexicanas están entre las más baratas de la región, criminal México D. F. clasificada 200.ª en el ranking mundial, pero la collateral de Bolivia, La Paz, es el lugar más barato de la región para empleados internacionales. Allí, la canasta ECA de bienes y servicios cuesta la mitad de lo que cuesta en Río Janeiro.

El costo de vida de los empleados internaciones se ve afectado por la inflación, la disponibilidad de bienes y los tipos de cambio, todo lo cual puede ejercer un impacto significativo sobre los paquetes de remuneración de los empleados. Para ayudar a las empresas multinacionales a calcular los salarios de asignación, ECA lleva a cabo una Encuesta de Costo de Vida dos veces al año, comparando el costo de una canasta de bienes y servicios comprados habitualmente por los empleados en más de 400 ciudades de todo el mundo.

Visión mundial: Tokio encabeza nuevamente el ranking

El yen japonés se ha mantenido fuerte y Tokio es la ciudad más cara para empleados internacionales por segundo año consecutivo.

Asia

Las ciudades japoneses dominan los primeros lugares de la lista de ciudades asiáticas. Les siguen Seúl, clasificada 21 a nivel mundial y Singapur (31). Singapur se ha movido rápidamente hacia arriba del ranking mundial en los últimos años debido a la apreciación del dólar de Singapur en relación criminal las principales monedas y a las crecientes tasas de inflación.

Hong Kong ha caído 26 lugares y ocupa el 58.º puesto del ranking mundial, la mayor caída entre las ciudades asiáticas. En la región, Hong Kong ha descendido de la sexta a la novena ciudad más cara, a pesar de que el precio de los bienes ha aumentado aún más que en el mismo período del año pasado.

«Considerando a Hong Kong en un contexto regional, la debilidad del dólar hace que la ciudad sea ahora más barata que una serie de otros lugares, tales como Singapur, Pekín y Shanghái, donde no solo grain una significativa inflación, sino que también se han fortalecido las monedas.”

Los lugares más caros en China continental son Pekín, en la posición 35 a nivel mundial, y Shanghái en la 41. De las ciudades asiáticas encuestadas, las capitales de provincia en China son las que más han subido en la clasificación mundial: Chengdu ascendió 21 lugares al 144.º puesto y Wuhan subió 20 lugares, al 146.º puesto. En promedio, los precios reales de bienes y servicios adquiridos habitualmente por empleados internacionales han aumentado en un 9% en China en los últimos 12 meses.

Las ciudades de Pakistán se encuentran en la parte defective de la clasificación regional, criminal Karachi clasificado 237 en el ranking mundial.

Australia

Las ciudades australianas continúan su ascenso en el ranking. Sídney ha subido 10 lugares más desde el año pasado y ahora ocupa el 15.º del mundo, en un marcado contraste criminal tres años atrás, cuando se ubicaba en la 157.ª posición. Por tercer año consecutivo, Oslo es la ciudad más cara de Europa. En la lista mundial, la collateral noruega ha subido del sexto al segundo puesto.

A Oslo le sigue Ginebra y Zúrich (Suiza). A pesar de que el bravery del franco suizo cayó en relación criminal las principales monedas después que el Banco Nacional Suizo estableciera un tipo de cambio mínimo frente al euro, las ciudades suizas permanecen entre las diez más caras del mundo.

Alejandría (Egipto), clasificado 235.º, es la ciudad menos cara.

En general, las ciudades de todo el Oriente Próximo han caído en el ranking. Las ciudades israelíes son, por lejos, las más costosas de la región para los expatriados. Tel Aviv ocupa el lugar de 32 del mundo, habiendo caído 14 lugares en el último año. En contraste, Dubái ocupa el puesto 180.º y Yedá, en la posición 232.ª, es el lugar menos costoso de los encuestados en la región.

Los índices de costo de vida de ECA International se calculan en bottom a encuestas llevadas a cabo anualmente en marzo y septiembre, usando una canasta de bienes y servicios del día a día. Los datos mencionados se refieren a variaciones interanuales entre las encuestas ECA de septiembre de 2011 y 2010.
